What Four-Wheel Drive Systems are Available in the 2021 Jeep Wrangler?

The 2021 Jeep Wrangler wears the Trail Rated® badge that comes from passing a series of grueling tests that prove its ability to handle tough terrain, very harsh conditions and bad weather. To achieve this, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler offers you a choice of three highly capable four-wheel drive systems that are designed to take on and conquer off-road trails and bad road conditions. Below, you’ll find all three four-wheel drive systems you can choose from when buying a new 2021 Jeep Wrangler SUV.

Command-Trac® 4×4 System – This four-wheel drive system sends torque to all four wheels for superior traction control when you need it. It also features a 2.72:1 low range for rock crawling and neutral for flat towing.

Selec-Trac® 4×4 System – This highly advanced four-wheel drive system can automatically switch to two-wheel drive on clear roads to help improve fuel efficiency when four-wheel drive is not needed. It can also switch to four-wheel drive to ensure that you have the traction control you need when driving on snow, ice, or mud.

Rock-Trac® 4×4 System – Choosing this four-wheel drive system will give you the best traction control possible for your new Jeep Wrangler. When your wheels slip, this system will automatically switch from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive. It also features a 4:1 low gear ratio, Tru-Lok® electronic locking front and rear differentials and an electronic front sway bar disconnect. This is one of the great features of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4-wheel drive.
