Community

Our founder, David Lum, was born and raised in Astoria. He is grateful Lum's has become the leading auto dealership on the beautiful Oregon Coast and proudly supports the community. As a local, family owned business, Lum's is active in the community by supporting non-profits to serving in leadership roles on boards across Clatsop County.

Lum's Auto Center is proud to provide educational support and career opportunities to local students who wish to further their education and gain work experience. Lum's proudly awards Clatsop County and Pacific County graduating seniors with Lum's Scholarships. The scholarship award recipients must demonstrate excellence in academics, possess leadership roles, participate in extra-curricular activities, pursue work experience and/or engage in community involvement.

Beach/Highway Clean Up

Every year Lum’s employees gather on the beach to pick up trash and do our part in keeping Oregon beaches clean. We even partnered with Beaverton Toyota and Solve Oregon one year to clean up the beach near Peter Iredale.

Every quarter, Team Lums volunteers to clean up Highway 101 in Warrenton. Sending employees out from the intersection of Ensign Ln. and HWY 101 to Camp Rilea, picking up any and all trash in sight. Look out for us wearing our yellow safety vests next time you drive by!

12 Days of Christmas

The time for giving. Lum’s participates in 12 days of Christmas, giving back to local non-profits/organizations during a time of need. Last Winter, Lum’s was able to give back to the following groups/organizations:

Pitchin' In

Every Month Lum’s Auto Center chooses a non-profit organization in the community where employees get to donate and wear matching shirts to show their support. Lum’s then matches the total raised to make for a great donation.
